Customers get the benefit of price protection on multi-year security services, allowing them to take advantage of discounted multi-year service fees, while avoiding the premiums often associated with newer platform generations.

Additionally, it enables customers to predict operating expenses related to security services more accurately. This programme ensures customers receive the highest tier of security services available on their platform, including our patented Real-Time Deep Memory Inspection (RTDMI™) and single-pass, low-latency, Reassembly-Free Deep Packet Inspection (RFDPI) engines.

What you get

A SonicProtect Subscription provides the highest level of security services available for any hardware or virtual firewall platform. For instance, it offers the Advanced Gateway Security Suite (AGSS) or Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite (CGSS) for Gen5 and Gen6/6.5 firewalls, and the Advanced Protection Security Suite (APSS) for Gen7 firewalls.

The subscription also automatically upgrades to the highest security tier when you upgrade your firewall. For example, if you have a SonicProtect subscription for a TZ400 (Gen6) firewall with AGSS, when you upgrade to a TZ470 (Gen7), the remaining subscription will switch to APSS for the new TZ470.

SonicProtect subscriptions are available in 3-year and 5-year terms, providing price protection on multi-year services. Customers benefit from discounted fees and avoid premiums often associated with newer platform generations. Additionally, the subscription allows for more predictable operating expenses and offers flexibility in planning capital expenses when upgrading to newer hardware or virtual platforms.
